Originally from Provence, France. I moved to Japan in 2014, drawn by my lifelong fascination with Japanese culture. I stumbled into web engineering by chance, and ended up loving it. Over the years, as I improved my photography, I wanted to go further: photographing people and creating complete artistic universes. Around 2018, I started looking for amateur models on social networks, but quickly realized how hard it was to actually connect with people interested in passionate projects. That's when the idea hit me: what if there were a dedicated app? Working around a day job, I spent several years building it, and was finally able to launch MiKiMI.
